WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOURSELF

There are lots of things you should know about yourself that will certainly change your mind set about life. No wonder the bible said; “My people perish because of lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). I will just outline some that will make you start taking bold steps, no matter the circumstances.

You are wonderful and carefully made. (Ps 139:14); Now if truly you know God, you will know that He is not a joker or a time waster. He cannot create something that is not wonderful. God cannot create failure. You might be passing through rough times does not mean it is meant to be that way. The bible says we were created in the image of God. If you put this into your head, there are things that you won’t pass through. Someone might have called you a failure, but the person is lying because God created you to be a success. So always tell remind yourself that you are wonderfully made by God, created in His image, so you can’t fail, because God has never failed. I can’t be sick because God has never been sick. I carry the power of God in me because He gave me the breath of life that carries power.

You can handle all temptations that come to you. (1Co 10:13); No matter what you passing through now; know that the solution has been provided by God already. He is so faithful and full of love that he can’t be watching you carry a load bigger than you. The problem is that most of the time, we take these problems and temptations as being very big that it covers our understanding. We even at those times forget what God has done for us before then, just like the children of Israel. When they were blocked by the red sea and the Egyptians and they forgot what God did for them when they were in Egypt and they preferred going back to Egypt. Let us learn to hold on to God, no matter how long it will take, He has the solution to that your problem.

You are more than a conqueror. (Romans 8:37); No matter what you are going through now, have it in mind that your victory is sure. You are not just a conqueror; you are more than a conqueror. The bible also said that the battle is of the Lord, and God has never and will never lose any battle. Allow Him to fight your battles and you will see your victory. So I should not be afraid of my enemies, instead they should be afraid of me. I can’t lose any battle because I have God’s victory in me

You have all that you need to live a Godly life. (2Peter 1:3); through the knowledge of who God is, we have everything we need in life. I always tell people that when the bible said “My people perish because of lack of knowledge”, it is the knowledge of who God is and who we are in God. That knowledge alone has given us all we need to live a good and godly life. No need to complain, to always ask of what has been given already. He has already prepared you before you were conceived by your mother. He know who you are and what you will be, so He gave you all the tools you need to do a great job here or earth.

God has a perfect will for you. (Romans 12:2); God has a plan for you. He is not interested in your failure. He has good plans for you. Paul said that God’s plan for you is good, acceptable and perfect. I know the problem is that we don’t even know God’s will for us, but Paul again said that we will find out what God has for us by changing the way we think, renewing our mind. Jeremiah 29:11 says “I know the thoughts I have for you….to give you an expected end”. So God has a plan already for you. So don’t create a plan different from what God has for you. People who do that tend to struggle all the way and yet nothing to account for their struggles.
