NEVER GIVE UP

First I will want to apologise for my long absence. It was due to some circumstances under my control (because no circumstance is beyond my control). So, am back and I am going to share with you something that will add value to your life.

One thing I have learnt in this life is never to give up. No matter the circumstances, no matter the challenges, no matter the environment, never give up on what you are doing, provided you are sure you are on the right track and God is with you. The thing there is that for you to be successful in life there is always a point you get to and you feel like giving up. But I tell you, when you feel like giving up, that’s when you are about to get to your goal, that when you are about to hit success.  When the days seem very dark, then know that you are about to hit the end of the darkness and the birth of light.

What are the things people easily give up on; God, your job, your business, your relationship, etc? I will talk about that of God. This is because a better understanding of how God works will help us in all other areas of our lives.

 Everybody expects God to do one or two things in their lives. It is not just that they want something from God; they want God to do it their own way. So when those things are not forth coming, they give up on God. Some have heard prophecies about their lives; some have had promises from God about their lives. And these promises and prophecies are not forth coming. They now try to do it their own way.

I have found out that giving up on God is the beginning of foolishness that leads to failure in life. One thing that will lead us to giving up on God is faith. When we lack faith in God, then we give up easily on Him and we tend to do things on our own. Abraham should be our role model in this one. God promised to make him the father of a great nation and yet he had Isaac at a very old age, when even Sarah has lost hope. One thing that amazes me is even when people forget easily the past and how God has been faithful. Never give up on God because He has a plan for you, that of success, to bring you to an expected end.

One thing that will help us hold on to God is to know who God is and who we are in God. This will help us build a better relationship with God. And then, we will get to know His good and perfect will for us. This can only be achieved if and only if we study our scriptures and allow it take over our lives. God really loves us, so He won’t allow things bigger than you to befall you.

Psalm 30:5b; ……..weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning
